Robert Lee Oliver, Jr.
Robert Lee Oliver, Jr., 68, died very suddenly on January 11 , 2012 in Tallahassee, FL where he had lived for the past 8 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Robert Lee and Martha Farr Oliver of Savannah. He was a member of First Baptist Church and later, Windsor Forest Baptist Church.
Bobby attended Charles Ellis Elementary School and graduated from Savannah Country Day School. He attended Vanderbilt University and worked for Genesco in Nashville, TN.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis of Tallahassee; son, Robert Lee Oliver, III Lucinda of Ozark, MO; a daughter, Lee Oliver Loge Bill of Camdenton, MO; grandchildren: Matthew, Meaghan, Linden, and Westin Oliver; and Courtney and Connor Loge. He is also survived by a sister, Martha Lee Oliver Vaught Andy of Savannah and a brother, William Langdon Oliver Claudette of Greenville, SC, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside Service will be 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Bonaventure Cemetery with The Rev. Andy Vaught officiating.
Remembrances may be made to Savannah Baptist Center.
